jiuqing, who is wearing many layers, pulls off her cloak - it's a cute yellow one with a koi pattern on it, and doesn't fit his aesthetic at all - and offers it to him.]
... Doc. [ HE FEELS SO FOND and laughs, a little, reaching up to rub the back of his neck. ] 'm alright, I've traveled around in ice before. 's no worry. Keep your cloak.
[ this is funny for reasons she doesn't know, but he will take her hands to gently nudge it back to her. ] Thanks, though.
[she pouts a little, but it's hard to be too annoyed when she's feeling that fondness - and it's echoed back at him, though there is a slight undercurrent of concern.]
...fine, but if I see you begin to shiver, I am putting it on you whether you like it or not.
there are a few planters where she's working - there's an aloe vera plant growing in one of them, which she's paying attention to at the moment. but the nearby planters have chrysanthemums, calendula flowers, motherwort, and holy basil; further out, there's chamomile, yarrow, lemon balm, echinacea, and peppermint.
[ hey mood. this is way more impressive than his snowdrops. ]

[if someone shanks her next week, at least they'll still have the plants!!
she indicates the yarrow.]
...do they have yarrow where you come from, Sir Vax'ildan? You can make a poultice from it, and it helps to stop the bleeding in wounds and encourages quicker healing.
[the plants get tended to regularly because she knows how to do that even though i, britt, know jack all about plants. so i guess they're in decent condition???]

vax smiles at her, head tilting a little to the side. ] Didn't know that part.
[ and, pointing to the others... ] Chamomile calms you down, promotes healing, too. What about the chrysanthemum?
